A terrible attempt at a movie about corporate espionage and embezzlement in tech. But a pretty decent one about a family man whos down on his luck and is distracted by a femme fatale that almost ruins his life. I would like to see the conclusion of that first half. Unfortunately because this movie is 2 hours long it gives itself too much time to tie itself up in knots it cant get out of. The last 30 minutes of the movie is spent chasing its proverbial tail. We spend 5-10 minutes for the set up of the ball scene that adds absolutely nothing but time to this movie. A terrible choice for what was obviously a self gratuitous decision on the directors part.Nollywood needs to focus on perfecting simple ideas which it still fails at before it attempts these 10 twist plots. Tell me the stories you know well and do it properly. That said;Uzo Arukwe shone in the first half. Sadly he got lost both as an actor and as a character In the second half. By the second half of the movie ini is the man for the job and hes just her husband. Ibrahim is being underutilized in Nollywood. His range is so great he should be getting roles that let him show that. Not stilted office characters with good guy twists. I would like to have him actually be the bad guy in a movie all the movie but in every movie it appears someone prevents that from happening by throwing in a twist. It was great to see Ini Edo on the big screen again actually acting unlike whatever chief daddy was. Its just unfortunate that her character at its best was irrelevant and at its worst was a joke with no setup or delivery. She isnt believable in the sex scene and she looks deeply uncomfortable even. Then all of a sudden shes set up as a spy lite? Zinas character is full of too many holes that it shouldnt even exist. In the first half of the movie shes smart and convincing. In the second half of the movie shes extremely stupid and naive. A daddys girl who just wants a pat on the head.
