As the world evolves with innovative development across all industries, filmmakers Chidinma Igbokweuche and Ibrahim Sulemain announce the launch of their film-focused database website; Nollydata. 

Nollydata is a one-stop website for all things Nollywood,  a community for filmmakers to display their projects, talents and creativity to the world. 

According to the Founders, the mission of Nollydata is to create a space that makes it easier to find information on all things Nollywood. From your old Nigerian movies to favorites, and also help filmmakers find talent and crew for their next project. 

"We want to make it easy for Producers to find talent (behind and in front of the cameras) for their very next project, and help movie lovers find information about their favorite Nollywood movies. 
On our website, you can find detailed information about a movie/series or any type of content, including a full cast and crew list, release date, trailers, and direct link to where to watch the content. 

As a registered user, you can put in your information and make it easy for anyone to find you and employ your services for other projects. We’ve made provision to include your professional headshots, Showreel, Location, and previous work and/or awards as a registered user of Nollydata" said founder, Chidinma. 

One of the unique features of Nollydata is that it is a fully user-based platform. This means registered users are able to upload information on their own, create a profile and have access to upload information about their works (old and new) to the website. They can share a direct link to wherever the movie is available to watch.

Speaking on the reason for building the website, Ibrahim says "A major challenge in our industry is staffing. When embarking on a new project, filmmakers do not have enough resources to even find information not to mention finding new faces to feature in the product. So figured we could attempt to profer an innovative solution."
